Events for the WTA are generally held the third Wednesday of each month, from September to June.

At our Annual Banquet in September, we welcome a new Executive Board, and honor either a company or individual for their continued support of the Port of Philadelphia. 

In 2007, we honored Governor Edward G. Rendell (Pennsylvania) as our "Person of the Year" and we were pleased that he accepted the Award in person. 

This year, we honored Mediterranean Shipping Company as our 2008 Company of the Year, on Wednesday, September 17th, at the magnificent Cescaphe Ballroom in Philadelphia.
